SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: $750.00
ELIGIBILITY: Applicant must be a high school senior or currently enrolled in a school of advanced education: i.e., junior college, four-year college, university, or business school. Austin LPA members or their children are not eligible for the scholarship according to the latest ruling from NALS.
APPLICATIONS: Scholarship applications must be completed in accordance with the Austin LPA Standing Rules currently in effect. Scholarship applications must be signed and submitted to the Scholarship Co-Chairmen by the deadline. Click here to download the Application and get started.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNER: The winner of the scholarship will be announced at the Annual Recognition Banquet on January 24, 2012.
AWARD PRESENTATION: A scholarship certificate will be presented at the Recognition Banquet to the recipient.
PAYMENT OF AWARD:
(1) The Austin LPA scholarship is payable in one payment of $750 at the beginning of the fall semester.
(2) Payments will be made directly to the recipient or to the school upon receipt of proof of enrollment. The proof of enrollment form will be utilized by the Austin LPA Scholarship Co-Chairmen to process the funds for payment.
